I Am Kali Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls ages 11–13 in underserved communities through leadership development programs. Our mission is to empower girls to become everyday leaders through mentorship and skill-building in communication, business, the arts, and conflict resolution. We envision a generation of young women who use their voices, talents, and ideas to transform their communities and futures.
Program Overview
Girls from underserved communities often lack access to leadership development opportunities during critical early adolescence. They face systemic barriers that limit their confidence, exposure to role models, and skill-building experiences. I Am Kali Inc. fills this gap by offering culturally responsive, strengths-based programming designed to nurture leadership, creativity, and resilience in elementary and middle school girls.
Our core programming consists of 8 interconnected initiatives that are
delivered through after-school sessions, weekend workshops, and community events.
