Yasmine Hughes

Dance Instructor

Yasmine is a Kali Alumni and teacher at Kali Dance Studios for the Arts. She was born and raised in Macon Ga and started dancing for Kali at the age of 8 and danced for Kali for 10 years.Yasmine is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Liturgical Praise, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary and African. She loves teaching and has a true passion for dance!

Avia Brown

Dance Instructor

Avia is a Kali Alumni and began dancing at Kali Dance Studio for the Arts at the age of 4 years old. She has been trained in a wide variety of styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Liturgical, and African. "Dance is my world-it's not just a passion, but a way I connect with others and share what I love. Fun Fact: Contemporary is her favorite genre.

Amiyra Fitz

Dance Instructor

Amiyra has 8 years of dance and performing experience in African dance and drumming. She began African Dance with Sachei African Inspired Music & Dance Assemble when she was 15 years old. It changed her perspective as a young black girl and what dance can do for the mind. She is currently a teacher and loves to assist when needed. She loves to dance and the kids love her.

Nytese Lemons

Dance Instructor

Ms. Ny'Tese begin dancing at the age of 8, she became a student at Kali Dance Studio at the age of 10. She has been with Kali for over 13 years and is trained in African, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip -Hop, Praise, and Cheer. She is responsible for teaching class choreography, assisting other teachers w/choreography and reviewing all dances before performances.
