Born in Macon, and raised in Jeffersonville, Georgia, Terra L. Gallemore did not began formal dance training until 2000. She always knew that dancing was her gift and calling from God so, she decided to pursue African Dance classes at Hayiya Dance Theater. Terra was eventually asked to be a member of Harammbee African Tribal Sounds Unlimited. During her two year stay, she became smitten with African dance and two years later co-founded Sashei African Inspired Music and Dance Assemble. While providing leadership for the group, Terra instructed many children and adults in the art of African Dance. She worked as a dance instructor for the Tubman African American Museum, Mercer University Upward Bound Program, Macon Housing Authority and other organizations. Terra also received professional dance training from Yousouff Kombassa of Guinea, West Africa, Dijan Tie of the Ivory Coast, and FungAfrica Congolese Professional Assemble.

This MPA Graduate had no idea that God would be ordering her steps 7 years later to open Kali Dance Studio for the Arts, located in Macon, Georgia. Currently, Terra is the Coordinator of Beulahland Bible Church Dance Ministry under the leadership of Dr. Maurice Watson. Terra receives professional dance training from one of God's most anointed ministers of dance, Mrs. Sabrina McKenzie. She and her dance troupe will be traveling to Bridegtown, Barbados for the International 2007 Dance Conference for the Dancing Preachers which she will be teaching her craft.
Terra has a desire to build a comprehensive dance program that will not only address the importance of dance, but build a strong sense of self among young adults.
